In an apparent protest against the untimely death of their colleague, who passed away following a reported confrontation with the manager of the off-campus private apartment, students on Tuesday vandalized a TV room, broke windows, and broke the front door of a Central property.
Third-year industrial chemistry student Thandolwam Ndlovu, 24, of Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, passed away on Sunday following reports that he was hit by a Mercedes-Benz on Clyde Street.
