Tragic Shooting in Northeast Baltimore: Homicide Investigators Seek Help
A tragic incident unfolded in Northeast Baltimore on Saturday night, as police investigate the shooting death of a 46-year-old man. The Baltimore Police Department’s Northeast District officers were on routine patrol around 6:30 p.m. when they heard gunfire near Powell Avenue in the Cedmont neighborhood.
Responding quickly to the sound of shots, officers arrived at the scene on Belair Road and discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Unfortunately, despite the prompt response, a medic from the Baltimore City Fire Department pronounced the man dead at the scene.
